| Happy HolidaysHere is my Christmas gift to all Omni aviators. Something I read a long time ago, and just recently ran into again. It shows a facet of the truth of what we feel in the air. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

| Meet Omni Aviation's Flight InstructorsOur fully qualified and trained Flight Instructors makes our student pilots' dreams come true. They offer safe and competent training to students of different nationalities.
Our students consider Omni Aviation as their home away from home. We are the center for aviation learning in the Clark Special Economic Zone. We are a melting pot of pilots from different cultures, united with the dream of becoming successful aviators.

| Rainy Season First SoloIt is the rainy season in the Philippines. But a few patient and determined student pilots were able complete their first solo flights last week.
| Indonesian student's first soloOmni Aviation proudly congratulates Honouri Nathaneel on his successful first solo flight.
| More first solo flights!Congratulations to Carlo Rivera and Mariel "Mahal" Calawigan for completing their First Solo Flight last Sunday 18 June 2006.
The First Solo Flight is the first milestone for any new pilot. It is the culmination of their first few hours of flight training. At Omni Aviation, we make sure that "Pilot School" means getting a student pilot to a level of competance to safely fly solo - from their first solo here at Clark, to their first solo cross country around Luzon.
| Hooray to our new pilots!"Now my life is in the air", declared a student who took his first flying lessons at Omni. We have had a record number of new pilots this year. Consequently, they achieved their first solo and underwent the "First Solo Baptism". The First Solo is the first high point and among the most memorable experience in the life of a Pilot. Congratulations to our new pilots:"

This week, a DHC-4 Caribou landed at Omni and parked right beside Hangar 2. The Caribou is renowned for its short field takeoff and landing performance, needing about 1000 feet for takeoff and 500 feet for landing. It was the workhorse of the US Army in Vietnam during the 1960's. Its light "footprint" allowed it to operate from short and rough airstrips. |
| Dornier 228 visits OmniA twin engine turboprop operated by Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI) was an unexpected visitor this morning. This 19 seat plane with registration RP-C2289 normally flies between Manila and El Nido, Palawan.
